About

My career baffles me...

I majored in screenwriting at Pepperdine University in Malibu, CA. I write horror, fantasy, and a dash of science fiction.

Then I became a waiter at Geoffrey’s Malibu, primarily because I majored in screenwriting...

I moved back to Rhode Island and sold advertising in small, local publications. Then I spent several years in marketing and public relations in jewelry manufacturing and then document management technology.

After that, I somehow found myself with a security clearance and designing web-based training for the Navy submarine fleet. No ... really.

Then I became the Executive Director at the Providence Animal Rescue League in Providence, RI

No ... really.

I’ve been all over the place, but you know what? I think I’ll stick with writing scary stuff and finding homes for homeless critters for the rest of my life. Honest, it’s a good gig.

I read everything. Genre fiction, classics, non-profit and marketing non-fiction, everything.

I *really* like Guinness.

I listen to rockabilly, ska, swing, old school hardcore, traditional folk music, and classical.

That’s me in a nutshell.
